The vineyards are located in the northwest corner of Utiel Requena, 900 metres above sea level. The wine is made using organically grown grapes in vineyards cultivated using natural fertilisers, cover crops, biological control of pests and not using any chemical products. The grapes are cooled and undergo pre-ferment whole bunch maceration before temperature-controlled tank fermentation.
Vibrant aromas of blueberry and blackberry. The palate has juicy plum and spice notes wrapped in supple tannins with a smooth finish. A youthful clean, dark garnet-cherry colour. Complex aromas of blueberry and blackberry. The wine shows an impressive array of flavours on the palate, great intensity and very good balance. Ripe, soft tannins bring a harmonious finish. Wonderful with meats and cheese as well as a roast and other red meat dishes.
